About the project

The project is to create a community centre which is mainly for recreational purposes socially, culturally and physically for all-ages with diversity. The design is to create a strong cohesive society and people engagement. This is a space for people to spend the wonderful with friends, families and others.

Concept

The idea of the massing is inspired by the puzzle, every piece of the puzzles represent different elements and they will become a massive compound when they are placed together. The massings are related to each other and the linkways also symbolize the connection between every place. This place consists of areas for cultural, physical and social activity to heal people's mental and physical health. It is also a place for people to take a breath and escape from the bustling city.

Design ideas

As this community centre is for multi recreational purposes, the idea is to design a space which is in green, opened, well-ventilated for people. The landscape, perforated screens, columns and other environmental materials are used to achieve the desired results mentioned above.
